The Construction Management program at Colorado State University is not only one of the oldest construction education programs in the United States, but is recognized as being a leader in construction education. With assistance from the Professional Advisory and Development Board, alumni and our industry the Construction Management program celebrates it’s 60th anniversary with the 2006 Ram Built Gala. The Gala provides a venue to recognize those who support our students and department by awarding the Hall of Honor for Support of Construction Education and the University Hard Hat Award.

It is important for our students to be exposed to actual construction problem solving exercises. This is accomplished by supporting the many student regional and national competitions. In an effort to establish an on-going funding source, we have set a goal of $250,000 to create the James Parnell Student Professional Development endowment. The proceeds of the 2006 Ram Built Gala will be directed to this endowment to support our students’ participation.
